More About Me

Kim Atkinson Foster Bio

Born in Jamaica, NY in 1964, I moved to Columbia, Maryland in April 1974.   I graduated from Hammond High School in 1982.  I attended college at Howard Community College, Clark College and Towson State University.  Having grown up in Columbia, I decided to start a family and make my home in Columbia/Howard County.  As such, I am also very familiar with the surrounding areas, Ellicott City, Elkridge, Laurel and Jessup. Because Howard County is so centrally located between Baltimore and Washington, DC, I also got to know areas of Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Montgomery, and Prince George's counties, and am familiar with many of the attractions and historic locations in DC. My experience before becoming a Real Estate Agent included working as a receptionist for a brokerage and as a Hostess for a Builder. I have also been a homeowner and a seller which allows me to have perspective on both sides of the transaction. I enjoy helping others and am excited to help make the dream of home ownership a reality for those who are seeking it.
